Mixed Martial Arts is the fastest growing sport. MMA has taken the world by storm, increasing in popularity rivaling Boxing and Professional Wrestling. Competitions allow martial artists from different backgrounds, as well as traditional and non-traditional martial arts, to face off in a controlled setting with rules to promote fighter safety. Rules allow striking and grappling techniques while standing and on the ground, proving the effectiveness of Martial Arts in pure unarmed combat. Studies show that the largest avid group of followers of the sport is within the 18-45 age range. Being a ministry, we see that the common ages that are missing in attendance at church today is the 18-35 age group.
